Tuition & Stipend
The Graduate School of the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences Biology Department covers tuition and health care for all active Ph.D. students up to six years in exchange for service to the department. Ph.D. students are responsible to pay the Graduate Student Activity Fee.
Ph.D. students receive an annual service stipend as compensation for 20 hours of departmental service each week as a Teaching Assistant or Research Assistant.
Insurance/Health Care

For students who don't carry a policy of their own, Boston College is required by law to provide access to a health insurance policy.聽All Ph.D. registered for a course(s) and receiving a聽on full-stipend are covered聽under University Medical Insurance.聽
